My best paved mountain vehicle every

We drove over 2000 miles in four states Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, and Utah.
We drove mountains roads, on flat roads and also cities.
Great vehicle for driving on paved mountain roads, goes up and down great, at 40 mpg or more !
Hybrid will hold just about any speed up and down . I drove up Vale Pass east of Vale, Colorado (at 70 to 75 mph, gas motor got loader but didn't slow at all).
I was even more impressed coming down I didn't have to use any brakes ( held speed exact ) , The Hybrid electric motors/generators held vehicle at correct speed.
I was on very steep paved mountain road in Arizona held at 50 mph on very steep grade (the noise of electric motors/ generators made did get louder, 3 times on very steep areas )
I was also on steep paved Interstate 70 in Colorado held 70 to 80 mph without braking, only had to brake around five different times in 280 miles through Colorado when other vehicles going slow got into fast lane.
I did drive through light snow in New Mexico and Arizona, no problem of gripping the road.
Very Happy !…
We love this car!

We could not be happier with our xse. The blueprint color is awesome, and the interior materials have a real luxury feel. The only onow I have is entune 3.0. The connection to a Galaxy S10 phone is extremely slow, and full of glitches. If you have an iPhone and want to plug it in for CarPlay, that's a much better experience. The acceleration is great, and performs much better than the standard rav4, which we had for a week waiting for our hybrid to arrive.
One note though, it makes a quite loud noise when reversing under battery power, though we are given to understand this is designed to stop after 5000 miles. Perhaps a safety warning noise for people around you?…
Great car with feedback monitoring for hybrid

I have the XLE with the tech package.
This car is amazing. It keeps me from hitting stuff when I get to close. It warns me when people are crossing behind me. Adaptive cruise control is my new best friend.
Best of all, I like the gas mileage. I’m getting over 41 mpg per tank of gas. I drive city highway and rural river highway. Beats the 24 mpg on my 2010 Kia Soul.
I find the RAV4 responsive, the engine quiet enough, and the new technology intuitive enough. This car was worth the 3 month wait.…
