We can always count on Toyota to deliver innovative, stylish, and feature-packed models. And while some model years bring more changes than others, 2021 holds some particularly intriguing upgrades for the automaker's lineup. This is especially true for models like the RAV4, Venza, and Corolla. Here's a quick look at some of their upcoming highlights.
Toyota RAV4 Prime
For 2021, Toyota adds another hybrid to the RAV4, and this time it comes with a plug. The 2021 RAV4 Prime combines a 2.5-liter Atkinson-cycle four-cylinder engine with the Toyota Hybrid Synergy Drive system. Together, they contribute 302 combined horsepower, enabling a 0-60 time of around 5.5 seconds.
Toyota Venza
The Venza nameplate returns after a five-year hiatus, but this time, it's a hybrid-only model. Internal motivation comes from a responsive 2.5-liter Toyota Hybrid System II powertrain, and Toyota's Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive is standard. Venza is also impressively equipped. Highlights of the base trim level include a hands-free liftgate, an 8-inch touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, LED headlights, wireless smartphone charging, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a hands-free liftgate.
Toyota Corolla
Even though Corolla received a full refresh for 2019, the new model year still brings plenty of significant updates. For 2021, Corolla sedan adds new rear-seat side airbags, and Android Auto is finally here and included as standard equipment. For the driving enthusiasts, the all-new Corolla Apex Edition features a lowered ride height, specially tuned shocks with internal rebound springs, solid stabilizer bars, and a black body kit with bronze accents on the front spoiler, side moldings, fog light covers, and rear diffuser.
